The Fair Education Alliance Reception: 500-years to close the gap - we need a new approach

The purpose and mission of the FEA is to harness collective action in order to close the disadvantage gap so that children’s educational success is not limited by their socio-economic background. Earlier this year, the FEA and the EPI published a major report which found that over recent years there has been a dramatic slowing down in the closure of the disadvantage gap. This conference reception follows the launch of this report and will discuss solutions to its concerning findings.
